Anyway -
Last weeks Field Trip Friday - our first in Meridian - was to Dunn's Falls.
From Wikipedia -
Dunn's Falls is a 65 ft (19.8 m) waterfall created in the mid 1850s by John Dunn, an Irish immigrant, once used as a power source for a gristmill and the manufacture of Stetson hats. The park is a natural wildlife refuge including a picnic area with barbecue grills, a gristmill pond, several campsites, and hiking and swimming areas.
The falls were beautiful.

The grist mill was interesting.

The wildlife was fast.

And the whole thing was over with in 1/2 hour. I am not sure how they can call it a water park with just one paddle boat... unless of course they mean that it is a park with water. Maybe that's it.
We met two moms from our local group, but I forgot to take a picture of them. They both have adorable daughters, but the only picture I got of either of them involves a lizard. (And I don't know if mom would want me posting a pic of her daughter here.)
We ate our picnic lunch - those of us who didn't happen to have children who forgot the bag with our fork in it (Thanks Alex!).
This Friday we are going bowling with another group (A Christian group that requires a state, ment of faith... shhhh! Don't tell!)
I will post pictures on Saturday.
